Saw Medium tonight. It was actually pretty interesting. Normally I don't like to watch it. Now I'm off. Night all.

And now back to homework.
ETA: I would like to tear my story in two. That is all.

And I have to schedule for classes tomorrow. Fun. Or not, since the scifi/fantasy studies class I wanted to take is full. Both classes. And the linguistics class I wanted to take is also almost full. That's only one class. So not fair. It's a good thing I still have a few more semesters, otherwise I'd be more upset that I didn't get a chance to take them. Because, come on, how can you not want to take those? They sound awesome!
Moving on...
So, to celebrate Veteran's Day, I have not one, not two, but three, videos to show you. I know, I meant to show one, but I couldn't decide which ones to show, so you get three. I give you, the funnies of NCIS. And Abby, because Abby is Abby.

A) a realistic story, but in a 'fantasy' world, (you know, urban fantasy and the like)
B) a dream-sequence story (where someone hits their head, have this really bizarre dream that takes up the whole story, then wakes up and realizes that it's all a dream)
Which would be more affective? Which would be more satisfying to you as a reader? Which would be more interesting?
I'll explain the context that goes with this later in another post, but I was curious as to other people's responses, and could you possibly explain why you think what you do, and your overall thoughts? If any of this is too vague, just tell me and I'll try to explain it better. Thanks in advance!

Dear Homework,
I know that you show up so that I can, you know, learn Important Stuff, but can I have a break? Homework, you have shown up at my door every day and I have worked with you in between class, and from the time I get home until the time I go to bed for the last few weeks. I'm rather tired, so can I have a few days vacation? Not from school, just the homework slog that you keep giving me. I'd like to be able to do other things, like reading a good book, writing reviews, or, higher on my list, writing. But no, you just keep showing up like an annoying puppy, demanding attention. Especially with the story critiques. Much as I love critiquing (and I really mean that, though I feel guilty for leaving several comments on these short stories, this gives me more confidence in my editing skills, and a lot more practice) but I feel like pulling my hair out. Have these people never read a book before? Written an essay? Anything? They're good stories, but I am feeling the pain here, in my brain. I know my women's lit. teacher said that if you're thinking hard, your brain should hurt, but this is a lot on my plate because I have five other classes that I have plenty of homework for. So if I could have, like, a day or two of no homework, no stress, that would be great. Thanks. I'll know if you don't get this, because I'll have more homework tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Me

When I was trying to print out my Spanish composition to turn in on Wednesday, my printer jammed up, twice. It ate my paper. But luckily I was able to print it out the third time and it was all right. Gah, Tuesday just was not my day.
I petsat last night, so now I'm tired. Puppies didn't calm down till late last night, though they were very cute. It's good money, so it's worth it.
And I am so mad that Vampire Diaries is a repeat tonight. I was so hoping to see what happened at the Halloween dance. Hopefully it's on next week. So I'm watching Ghost Whisperer instead. And of course doing homework.
